Pneumonia
I spoke with Betsy this afternoon and I guess she has a touch of pneumonia. Really, she just has fluid in her lungs, no fever, no chills…none of that.
So, they’ve started her on the required antibiotics and she is now getting lasix to combat the fluid build up…again. Sadly, the rapid weight gain from all that water has kept her a bit bed-bound, which i am sure is, in some part, responsible for the Pneumonia onset. Otherwise, she sounds better. Still no idea when she will be discharged. Obviously, they want to make sure that she is healthy enough to leave and not be back.

I have tentative reservations to come out on Feb 27th. I will stay as long as Betsy needs me and I can fly back to San Francisco to get her home in Napa. I can change my return flights at any time.
Since I don’t work anymore and I have lots of free time on my hands, I would love to help out.
