I spoke with Betsy this afternoon. Apparently, her doctor was concerned about infection and after reviewing a CT scan they did of her abdomen, they decided to schedule her for surgery tomorrow (Saturday) morning. I didn’t speak with Dr. Spirtos, but I can assume that they are opening her up again to try and stop the infection. I have no more information than this. I will fly out tomorrow to join the support team already there (Conny and Skip and Patti Brown). As soon as I know more, I will post.
