Betsy had another small procedure today to remove more fluid from her lungs. I spoke with her tonight and at times it was hard to hear her words. What wasn’t hard to hear was how much better she sounds, her spirit. With so much goop removed from her lungs and the lasix really kicking in, not to mention a hearty diet of Boost, I think she is really moving in the right direction. I am headed out to Vegas on Saturday to personally make sure of it. Conny, thank you. You really have been a wonderful force for Betsy. Since you arrived, she seems to have only gotten better. Laughing together has obviously been good for her. Still no idea when discharge will be, but now we can at least see that it’s coming.

    Thanks Hunts for all of your info. I have read them daily and they have made such a wonderful difference in knowing how she is.

    Thanks for family… it’s amazing how the love, support, and the laughter that only a son or a sister can give; can can help the healing process. I am so thankful to Conny for being there with Betzer right now.

    Just wanting Betz to know, that as much as her family loves her, her friends also love her equally, we all think shes a pretty incredible lady, one that I hold in the highest regard for her wonderful spirit and sense of grace she sheds on all of us. I can’t wait to dance again in your kitchen and drink wine, simply because “we can”.

    I am praying each day for your safe keeping in Las Vegas and quick return to St Helena. Obviously, anything I can do… it’s done.
