I spoke with Betsy this afternoon and I spoke with Conny. From what I gathered, they are going to hook up a vacuum to Betsy incision and see if they can remove some of the fluid from the tissue. I guess the wound is having trouble sealing as wet tissue, will not adhere to wet tissue. So, they vacuum out the moisture and the wound should start healing. Alternatives to this procedure, not sure yet. As I know more, I will post it.
